DAY TWO OF 2012 CUNYAC OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPS

New York, NY- The 2012 CUNYAC/US Army Outdoor Track and Field Championships concluded on Sunday May 13, 2012 at Icahn Stadium on Randalls Island. On the Men's Side, MEC finished in 2nd place, tallying 175 total points for the 2 days. CCNY won the Championships with 195pts. York College finished in 3rd place with 88pts, Hunter in 4th with 55pts, and Lehman in 5th place with 42pts. MEC's Junior Kadeem Campbell was named MVP of the Championship. Campbell tallied 30pts. "I am proud of this award. I tried my best in all my events." He was named MVP in the 2010 Outdoor T & F CUNYAC Champs. On the Women's Side, MEC finished in 4th place with 33pts. Lehman College won the Championship with 218pts, Hunter finished in 2nd place with 150pts, and CCNY in 3rd place with 141pts. Freshman standout Katisha Simmons accumulated 30pts and qualifying for the NCAA in the 100m Dash. Here are the results from today's meet.
