Brooklyn, NY- The Lady Cougars Tennis team lost their opening match of the 2011 season 9-0 to the Brooklyn College Bulldogs at Brooklyn College on Sept. 20, 2011. The match which was originally sceduled at Lincoln Terrace Park, a home match for the Lady Cougars, was moved to Brooklyn College because it soaked up the rain water much quicker.
The Lady Cougars out of 9 players only had 3 returning athletes. Five of the nine showed up to the opening match. Below is a list of the results:

The Bulldogs improved to 3-1 Overall and 2-0 CUNYAC while the Lady Cougars fell to 0-1 Overall and 0-1 CUNYAC. The Lady Cougars will be back in action on Thursday Sept. 22, 2011, when they play the College of Staten Island Dolphins in Staten Island. The serve will be at 3:30 pm.
