Medgar Evers women's soccer wins their first game of the season against York College by a score of 3-2. Brenda Cruz (Colombia) scored two goals (1.11, 33:10) this evening and took four shots on goal out of her seven shots in total. Brihonne Desroses (Brooklyn) scored one goal (51:55) and took three shots on goal out of her five shots in total. Joanna Martinez (New York) had one assist. Tyara Smith (Brooklyn / NY) took one shot on goal in her only shot of the match. Sandra Morales (Mexico) took one shot in the match. Renee Charles-Warren (Brooklyn/NY) had two saves in the game out of two attempts. 

Medgar Evers (1-2) will return to the field on Monday, September 18th for an away game against John Jay College.
