Men's Volleyball Drops Match Against Mount Saint Vincent

The Medgar Evers Men's Volleyball played in their ninth overall match of the season against Mount Saint Vincent on Thursday night at 7:00pm. The Cougars dropped the match in three straight sets (12-25, 14-25, and 13-25). 

Freshman Outside Hitter Johan Jimenez (Santiago, Dominican Republic) led the Cougars in kills with 7 and 3 digs in the match. Junior Setter Kareem Cyrus (Saint Georges, Grenada) led the Cougars in assist with 12 and had the only block in the match for the Cougars. Junior Outside Hitter Abdul Kamara (Sierra Leone / West Africa) recorded the only service ace for the Cougars in the match. Sophomore Middle Blocker Jovan Scott (Queens, N.Y.) led the Cougars in digs with 7.

For the Dolphins, Neven Skoblar recorded 18 kills out of 23 total attacks to lead his team for the win. 

Medgar Evers (4-5, 1-2) will take on conference rival Lehman College on Tuesday, March 6th at 7:00pm.
