Box Score Brooklyn, NY- The Lady Cougars fell to St. Joseph's College (Bears) 66-40 on Sunday January 29, 2012 at MEC. The loss dropped MEC to 2-18 Overall while St. Joes Bk improved to 6-11 Overall.

The Lady Cougars started the game off on a 4-0 run. Yvanna Jack nailed a jumper then Brittany Christie followed with a layup. St. Joes would go on a 8-0 run. They would lead by 22pts at the break. The 2nd half was all Lady Bears as they would lead by as much as 30pts.

The Lady Cougars were led by Yvanna Jack. Jack a Senior scored 22pts, grabbed 25 rebounds, an recorded a steal. Freshman Brittany Christie recorded her first double double in her collegiate career. Christie scored 10pts and grabbed 12 rebounds.

The Lady Bears were led by Megan Moran and Kelly McNamee. Each tallied 14pts. Danielle Marino scored 13pts. 

The Lady Cougars will be back in action on Wednesday February 1, 2012, when they take on the Brooklyn College Women Bulldogs. Game time is 6pm at MEC. This will be the first of three CUNYAC games and all are against the South Division.
