Box Score Newark, NJ- On Monday Oct. 14, 2012, the Medgar Evers College Women's Soccer squad played the Rutgers-Newark University Scarlet Raiders in Newark, NJ. RU-N defeated Medgar Evers College 11-0. They improve to 4-12-1 Overall while the Cougars drop to 0-9 Overall.

The Cougars started the game full of life, energy and moving the ball well. Even though the score was 11-0, Medgar Evers finished the game with energy and had fun on the field.

Medgar Evers Senior goalkeeper Yishka Chin played all 90 minutes, gave up 11 goals, and made 20 saves.

The Cougars will be back in action on Thursday Oct. 18, 2012 when they play the Lehman College Lightning at Aviator Sports and Recreational Center in Brooklyn, NY. Game time is 7pm.
