Box Score Staten Island, NY- On Saturday Oct. 20, 2012, the Medgar Evers College Women's Soccer team played their 2012 CUNYAC finale against the City College of New York Beavers on the campus of College of Staten Island. The Beavers won 7-0. They improved to 13-2 Overall and 5-0 CUNYAC while the Cougars dropped to 0-9 Overall and 0-6 CUNYAC.

The Cougars played this game with energy and achieved something they had not done all season. They made 4 shots in the game and 3 on goal. This was a season high.

Cougars keeper Yishka Chin gave up 7 goals in 90 minutes and made 9 saves. Her counterpart, CCNY keeper Nicole Carroll played 90 minutes and made 3 saves.

The Cougars of Medgar Evers College will be back in action on Monday Oct. 22, 2012, when they take on the Berkeley College of New York Knights. Game time will be 7pm at Aviator Sports and Recreational Center in Brooklyn, NY.
