Box Score Brooklyn, NY- The Medgar Evers College Women's Basketball Team fell to the Lehman College Lightning 58-9 at Medgar Evers College. The Lightning improved to 1-4 Overall and 1-1 CUNYAC while the Cougars dropped to 0-6 Overall and 0-1 CUNYAC.

The Cougars played tight defense and tried their hardest to score in the 1st half. They didn't accomplish this task. As a team, the Cougars played much better in the 2nd half, scoring all 9pts. Freshman Antanique Williams started the scoring a minute and half into the half. Williams made a running layup, two of her three points. Freshman Jaquy Lanot led her team with 5pts.

Lehman was led by Jennifer Navarro with 24pts and Stephanie Miranda with 11pts.

Medgar Evers College will be back in action when they travel to Upper Manhattan and face the City College of New York Beavers. Game time will be at 5pm.
