Box Score Brooklyn, NY- The Women's Volleyball Cougars fell to the Yeshiva Maccabees 3-0 earlier tonight. The scores were 25-21, 25-22, and 25-20 Yeshiva. The win improves their record to 3-6 Overall and 2-2 HVIAC while the Cougars fall to 1-19 Overall and 0-6 HVIAC.

The Cougars tallied 17 kills for the match. Leading the Cougars was Senior Outside Hitter Beatrice Bonhomme with 6 kills on 15 total attacks. Bonhomme added 3 assists, 10 digs, a solo block, and a blocking assist. Senior Captain and Outside Hitter Janiece Hill recorded 5 kills on 19 total attacks. Hill added 2 service aces, and a game high 11 digs. Senior Right Side Hitter/Middle Blocker Yosner Nicolas added 2 solo blocks.

Yeshiva was led by Jackie Berger with 8 kills.

The Cougars will be back in action on Saturday Oct. 19, 2013, when they play at the SUNY Maritime Multi Match @ SUNY Maritime in the Bronx, NY. The first match will be against SUNY Purchase Panthers at 1pm, then at 3pm against host SUNY Maritime Privateers.
