Box Score New York, NY- The Women's Basketball Cougars fell to the City College of New York Beavers 70-25 earlier tonight. The Beavers improve to 2-4 Overall and 1-1 CUNYAC while the Cougars fall to 2-5 Overall and 0-2 CUNYAC.

The Cougars started off very slow, and missed their first 11 shots. With 16:13 left in the 1st half, Freshman Forward/Center Kimonia Mullings scored on a tip-in.The Cougars never led.

In the loss, Medgar Evers College was led by Freshman Forward/Center Kimonia Mullings with 13pts (3-5 FT-FTA). The Flushing, NY native recorded her 2nd double double this season, grabbing 13 boards. She tallied an assist, two blocks, and a steal. Sophomore Guard Imani Mason scored 7pts.

In the win, City College was led by Giovanna Blanco with 15pts. Karissa Core scored 14pts and Bria Fisher added 13pts.

The Cougars will look to regroup, when they play on Tuesday December 10th, 2013, and take on the Hunter College Hawks. Game time will be 6pm at Medgar Evers College.
