Box Score Brooklyn, NY- The Medgar Evers College Men's Basketball team fell in a way no one managed to the Brooklyn College Bulldogs. The game was the #5 seeded Medgar Evers College Cougars at the #4 seeded Brooklyn College Bulldogs in the Quarter-Finals of the 2013 CUNYAC/Con Edison Men's Basketball Championships. The Bulldogs defeated the Cougars 79-76 in 3 OT's. The Bulldogs improve to 12-13 Overall while the Cougars drop to 12-14 Overall.

Michael Taylor. The leads were brief, a pt. or 2pt. After a airball from Bulldogs Noel, the Cougars had 3 opportunities to win it but all came up short. Brooklyn College's Noel, retrieved a rebound and dribbled across the court, for a game tying dunk and sending the game into double OT.
In the 2nd Overtime, once again Brooklyn led the nearly the entire time. The Bulldogs were up by 4pts, when the Cougars
Winston Douglas hit a 3pt. shot with 1:52 left, making the score 65-64 BC. The Cougars tied the game, on a free throw from
Michael Taylor (67 a piece), after being fouled after converting on a layup.
In the 3rd Overtime, the both teams made their shots and the game was tied at 72 with 3:05 left. The Cougars would lead the next minute and a half, before the Bulldogs tied the score at 75. After
Winston Douglas made one out of two free throws, Brooklyn converted on all 4 free throw attempts, and are moving on to the Semi Finals. The Cougars will wait until the ECAC, makes an announcement on Monday February 25, 2013, regarding their fate.

Winston Douglas recorded his 18th double double with 18pts (1-3 3pt FG-FGA, and 3-6 FT-FTA) and 28 rebounds. Douglas dished out 4 assists, tallied a game high 5 blocks and added 5 steals.
In the win, Brooklyn College was led by Kavon Baker with 24pts. Four players scored in double digits, including Jeffrey Noel with 20pts, Shayne Martinez with 11pts, and Steven Grant with 10pts.
