Box Score Brooklyn, NY- The Women's Volleyball team fell to the Brooklyn College Bulldogs 3-0 earlier tonight. The scores were 25-14, 25-16, and 25-19. The Cougars drop to 1-7 Overall and 0-4 CUNYAC while the Bulldogs improve to 3-4 Overall and 1-2 CUNYAC.

The Cougars tallied 15 kills for the match. There only lead in the match was 6-2 in the 1st set.

In the loss, the Cougars were led by Senior Outside Hitter Janiece Hill with 5 kills. Hill added a service ace and 5 digs. Junior Kiwelewa Mlimwengu and Senior Beatrice Bonhomme each tallied 3 kills apiece. Bonhomme lead the team in service aces with 3. Bonhomme and Freshman Kalifa Roberts also led the team in digs with 7. Sophomore Setter Nina Bernadine-White recorded 7 assists.

Brooklyn was led by Julia Bogdan with 7 kills.

The Cougars will be back in action on Sunday September 22, 2013, when they travel to Hyde Park, NY. Game time is 1pm.
