Box Score Brooklyn, NY- The Medgar Evers College Women's Soccer team fell to the John Jay College Bloodhounds 7-0 earlier today. The win improved the Bloodhounds record to (2-12, 1-3 CUNYAC), while the Cougars drop to (0-10, 0-3 CUNYAC).

Sophomore Goalie Marlene Thompson recorded a career high 30 saves. Her counterparts Kelli Doherty made two saves and Andrea Antoni carouled three saves.

The Cougars tallied five shots and all on-goal. Sophomore Midfielder Sciancia Metelus netted two shots, and three freshmans' Kimonia Mullings, Tisha Joseph, and Zoanne Claxton, each with a shot apiece. The Bloodhounds tallied 39 shots (37 on-goal).

The Cougars will be back in action on Wednesday October. 15, 2014, they will play the Saint Joseph's College of Brooklyn Bears at 8:00 pm. The game will take place at Aviator Sports and Recreation Center.
