Box Score Brooklyn, NY- The Men's Basketball team fell to the Brooklyn College Bulldogs 80-61 earlier tonight. The Bulldogs improve to 9-1, 3-0 CUNYAC while the Cougars drop to 1-7, 0-3 CUNYAC.
Brooklyn College led wire to wire. The  Cougars were down 7-0 before they got on the board. The closest they got to the lead was a bucket (14-12) with 13:09 left.Â
In the loss, the Cougars were led by Junior Guard
Matthew Walker scored a game high 18 points (8-21 FG-FGA, 1-5 3pt. FG-FGA, and 1-1 FT-FTA). The Brooklyn, NY native grabbed six rebounds and added two steals. Freshman Guard
Reynaldo Eloy scored 16 points (7-18 FG-FGA, 1-5 3pt. FG-FGA, and 1-2 FT-FTA). Reynaldo grabbed five rebounds, dished out a team high four assists, swiped away one shot, and added a steal. Senior Forward/Center and Co-Captain
Valin Williams scored 14 points (7-11 FG-FGA and 0-2 FT-FTA). The Brooklyn, NY native grabbed 13 rebounds, swiped away four shots, and tallied a steal. Valin recorded his fourth double-double of the season.
In the win, Brooklyn College was Jamel Gist with 17 points. Four other student-athletes scored in double-figures including the following: Egzon Gjonbalaj (16 pts), Jai Kellman (14 pts), and both Valon Djombalic & Lorenzo Williams with 12 pts apeice.
The Cougars will be back in action on Thursday December 11, 2014, when they play the Farmingdale State Rams. Tip-off will be at 7:00 pm.  Â
