Box Score New York, NY- The Medgar Evers College Women's Basketball team fell to the Hunter College Hawks 75-43 earlier tonight. Hunter improves to 12-12 Overall and 9-6 CUNYAC while the Cougars drop to 2-21 Overall and 0-15 CUNYAC.
Hunter led from the opening tip. The Cougars cut the lead by three points, twice early on. That was the closest they would get from the lead.Â

Nia Tompkins led the Cougars with 25pts. It was also a game high. Tompkins grabbed six rebounds, dished out an assist, and tallied a game high six steals. Freshman Forward/Center
Kimonia Mullings grabbed a team high 10 rebounds.
In the win, Hunter was led by Kristen Markoe with 21pts. Nicole Lenard scored 11pts, and Racquel Baudanza added 10pts.
The Cougars will be back in action on Tuesday February 18, 2014, when they travel to Staten Island, NY, take on the top seeded College of Staten Island Dolphins. This will be the last CUNYAC match this season. Tip off is 5:30pm.Â
