Box Score Yonkers, NY- The Medgar Evers College Women's Soccer team fell to the Sarah Lawrence College Gryphons 9-1 earlier today. The win improves the Gryphons to 2-1 Overall while the Cougars drop to 0-4 Overall. 

Sophomore Midfielder/Forward Sciancia Metelus scored her 1st goal of the season, driving down the field, past two defenders. Freshman Racquishel Jules started the game at Goalie. She gave up a goal, and made a save, in her seven minutes in net. Sophomore Goalie Marlene Thompson played the remaining 83 minutes, giving up eight goals, and made seven saves. 

The Cougars tallied two shots, both on goal. 

The Gryphons used two goalies. Addie Rosenberg played the first half, giving up a goal. Noelle Clark played the 2nd half, and recorded a save.

The Cougars will be back in action on Wednesday Sept. 17, 2014, when they travel to Staten Island, NY and play the College of Staten Island Dolphins. Game time is 4:00pm.
