Brooklyn, NY- The Medgar Evers College Women's Soccer team fell to the York College Cardinals 8-0 at Aviator Sports and Recreational Center. The win improves the Cardinals record to 1-4 Overall and 1-1 CUNYAC, while the Cougars drop to 0-6 Overall and 0-2 CUNYAC.

Sophomore Goalie Marlene Thompson played all 70 minutes, gave up eight goals, and made eight saves.

The Cougars will be back in action on Monday Sept. 22, 2014, when they travel to Randalls Island in Manhattan, and take on the City College of New York Beavers. Game time is 4:00pm.
