WOMEN'S SOCCER GOALIE TISHA JOSEPH MAKES A CAREER HIGH 18 SAVES AGAINST CCNY

Box Score New York, NY- The Medgar Evers College Women's Soccer team fell to the City College of New York Beavers 13-0 earlier today. The win improves the Beavers to 4-1 Overall while the Cougars drop to 0-7. 

The Cougars tallied three shots in the match, two of which were on goal. Two Cougars recorded their first shots of the season. Freshman Defender Jossette Bailey rifled a shot and was saved by the Beavers keeper Emily Ramos. Sophomore Midfielder Stania Petit-Frere recorded the other shot, which was on goal. Fellow classmate and Midfielder Sciancia Metelus marked her 2nd shot of the season.

Freshman Goalie Tisha Joseph, played 90 minutes, giving up 13 goals, but making a career high 18 saves. This was Joseph's first game in front of the net. 

The Cougars will be back in action on Wednesday September. 24, 2014, when they play the Lehman College Lightning at Aviator Sports and Recreational Center. This CUNYAC match will begin at 5:00pm.
