Box Score Brooklyn, NY- The Medgar Evers College Women's Soccer Cougars fell to the Lehman College Lightning 8-0 earlier today. The Lightning improve to 5-2-1 Overall (2-1 CUNYAC), while the Cougars drop to 0-8 Overall (0-3 CUNYAC).

The Cougars fought hard during the match. They had a number of crisp passes, and everyone was communicating on the field. Sophomore Midfielder Sciancia Metelus tallied the lone shot for Medgar Evers College. 

Sophomore Goalie Marlene Thompson, played all 90 minutes, giving up seven goals, and carouled seven saves.

The Cougars will be back in action on Saturday September 27, 2014, when they travel to the Bronx, and battle the SUNY Maritime Privateers. Game time is 1:00pm
