Box Score Jersey City, NJ- The Medgar Evers College Women's Soccer team fell to the New Jersey City University Gothnic Knights 13-0 earlier today. The win improved the Gothnic Knights record to 2-0-1, while the Cougars drop to 0-1.

Marlene Thompson played all 90 minutes, gave up 13 goals, and made a match high 23 saves. Thompson faced 38 shots.
In the win, New Jersey City University were led by Laura Bustamante and Mundindia Saint Jean, each with three goals. Seven Gothic Knights scored at least one goal.
The Cougars will be back in action on Tuesday Sept. 9, 2014, when they take on the Saint Joseph's College of Brooklyn Bears. The game will be played at Aviator Sports and Recreational Center, and will kick off at 5:30pm.
