Box Score BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The Medgar Evers women's volleyball team looked to force a fourth set, but ultimately fell to Lehman College, [17-25, 13-25, 15-25], Tuesday night at the Cougars Cave.

The Lady Cougars (0-23, 0-8 CUNYAC) got a team-high seven kills and 13 digs from junior Kalifa Roberts (San Fernando, Trinidad/La Romain Secondary), while senior setter AnnMarie Bemberry added six assists and two kills. Naomi Chandler also had five assists and five digs in a losing effort.

Jo-Marie Aquino led the way for the Lightning (12-13, 6-2 CUNYAC), who tied the game-best by compiling 12 kills along with seven service aces. Salveira Gonzalez slammed 12 kills of her own, while Imani Dubois had an impressive 24 assists and five kills in the victory.

Medgar Evers plays their season finale Thursday night against Maritime College at home. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m. at the Cougars Cave. The team will celebrate Senior Night for Bemberry, who is playing her final game as a member of the team. It will also be the Lady Cougars' special Dig Pink Volley for the Cure night.
