Women's Soccer Closes Out 2015 Season with Loss to John Jay

Box Score NEW YORK, N.Y. – A seven-goal barrage in the first half helped John Jay defeat the Medgar Evers women's soccer team, 10-0, in their 2015 finale on a rainy Wednesday afternoon on Randall's Island Field 83.

The Cougars (0-14, 0-7 CUNYAC) got five saves from Kenia Diaz (Queens, N.Y./Allentown Central) in a losing effort. They also got two shots apiece from Kimonia Mullings (Queens, N.Y./Flushing) and Claudemar Seneus (Brooklyn, NY./H.S. for Public Services), while both Shantel Cox (Brooklyn, N.Y./School for Medical Professionals) and Zoanne Claxton (Linden, Guyana/Watch) added a shot each.

Jessica Jean, Katelyn Davis and Alexis Castillo each tallied two scores in the win for the Bloodhounds (3-9-2, 2-2-2 CUNYAC). Daniela Campodonico dished off three assists while Kayla Talbot distributed two assists of her own to qualify for the CUNYAC Championships.
