Box Score BROOKLYN, NY- The Men's Basketball team fell to the Hunter College Hawks 75-61 earlier tonight. The Hawks improve to 8-13, 5-8 CUNYAC while the Cougars drop to 2-19, 1-11 CUNYAC.
Hunter led wire to wire. Medgar Evers College cut the lead to single digits for most of the 1st half. They would cut the lead to single digits briefly in the 2nd half, but Hunter didn't let go of the lead. In the game, the Cougars shot 33.3% from the field, 19% from 3pt. range, and 65% from the free throw line. Hunter College shot 41.7% in both field goal shooting and from behind the arc. They also shot 83.3% from the charity stripe.

Reynaldo Eloy with 13 points (5-15 FG-FGA, 2-9 3pt. range, and 1-2 FT-FTA). Reynaldo also grabbed a pair of rebounds. Junior guard and captain

Tavin Johnson each recorded their first collegiate points in the game. Hunter was led by Jerrell Antley with 22 points. Brian Kruger scored 20 points and Bryan Silvera added 13 points.
The Cougars will be back in action on Friday, February. 6, 2015, when they travel to Manhattan, and take on the John Jay College Bloodhounds. Game time will be 7:00 p.m.  Â
