Box Score Women's Soccer Defeated by Conference Rival CCNY
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (Oct. 19, 2016) – On Wednesday, the women's soccer team hosted City College of New York at Aviator Sports Complex in a CUNYAC matchup. The Lady Cougars were playing short-handed in this match and that is why they struggled offensively and on defense could not match up with CCNY. CCNY put the game out of reach early with five goals in the first 20 minutes of play.
 
Sophomore goalkeeper Kenia Diaz made 11 saves on the match. With the loss, Medgar Evers falls to 0-10 (0-6 CUNYAC) and CCNY improves to 6-6 (2-3 CUNYAC).
 
 
Women's soccer will be back in action Saturday, October 22, when they host Trinity Washington University (D.C.) at Aviator Sports Complex at 3 p.m.
