Box Score Women's Soccer Drops Season Finale at Valley Forge 10-1
PHOENIXVILLE, Pa. (Oct. 29, 2016) – On Saturday, the women's soccer team traveled to the University of Valley Forge for a nonconference matchup to conclude their season. The Patriots of Valley Forge scored first with a goal in the 8th minute from Kelsey Morrison assisted by Cheyenne Tuggle. Valley Forge would go up 5-0 before senior Sciancia Metelus put one in the back of the net in the 30th minute. That was all the Lady Cougars could get even though they got 10 shots off on the day.
 
Eventually Medgar Evers would lose by a final score of 10-1. Junior goalkeeper Marlene Thompson made eight saves in the net. With the loss, Medgar Evers finished the season 0-13 and Valley Forge improves to 3-14.
