Box Score Women's Soccer Drops Season Finale at Valley Forge 10-1
PHOENIXVILLE, Pa. (Oct. 29, 2016) – On Saturday, the women's soccer team traveled to the University of Valley Forge for a nonconference matchup to conclude their season. The Patriots of Valley Forge scored first with a goal in the 8^th minute from Kelsey Morrison assisted by Cheyenne Tuggle. Valley Forge would go up 5-0 before senior Sciancia Metelus put one in the back of the net in the 30^th minute. That was all the Lady Cougars could get even though they got 10 shots off on the day.
 
Eventually Medgar Evers would lose by a final score of 10-1. Junior goalkeeper Marlene Thompson made eight saves in the net. With the loss, Medgar Evers finished the season 0-13 and Valley Forge improves to 3-14.
