Box Score Lady Cougars Fall 87-49 to Lehman in a CUNYAC Matchup at the Cave
 
(BROOKLYN, N.Y.) – Medgar Evers women's basketball hosted Lehman College in a CUNYAC matchup on Friday night at the Cougars' Cave. The Lady Cougars struggled with Lehman's full court pressure early and often leading to a final score of 87-49. With the loss, Medgar Evers falls to 1-14 (1-7 CUNYAC) while Lehman improves to 8-7 (6-2).
 
Medgar Evers had turnovers problems right from the jump turning it over 15 times in the first quarter and falling behind 24-8. The full court pressure from Lehman forced the Lady Cougars into tough spots and double teams leading to easy buckets the other way for Lehman. Medgar Evers had a total of 51 turnovers that led to 52 points for Lehman.
 
Medgar Evers was led by senior Elesha Dieudonne (Brooklyn, N.Y.) who had a team-high 22 points and 12 rebounds making it her 12^th double-double on the season. Senior Kimonia Mullings (Queens, N.Y.) also recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. 
 
Lehman was led by Amely Del Rosario who had a game-high 31 points. The women's basketball team is back in action Tuesday, January 17^th when they travel to Old Westbury for a non-conference matchup beginning at 5 p.m.
