Men's Soccer Drop Final Match Of The Regular Season

The Medgar Evers Men's Soccer team was in action Wednesday night as they faced conference rival Lehman College and got shut out by a score of 0-2. 

The Cougars couldn't get any of their shots past the Lightenings' goalie as the Cougars took a total of three shots (all in the first half) with only one of those shots being on goal. The Lightening was able to score one goal in the first half and one goal in the second half against the Cougars defense.

Sophomore Voshawn Juba (Point-Fortin / Trinidad) had two shots in the match with one being on goal. Sophomore Jordon Coke (Kingston / Jamaica) had only one shot in the match. Freshman goalkeeper James Hyacinthe (Aquin / Haiti) played for 39 minutes and had two saves out of one goal attempt. Freshman Adeyemi Adeniyi (Oyo / Nigeria) played 50 minutes as goalkeeper and also had two saves out of one goal attempt. 

Medgar Evers finished the season with a 2-6 CUNYAC and a 4-12 overall record for seventh place out of nine teams in the conference.
