Women's Volleyball Falls to Rutgers-Camden

The Medgar Evers women's volleyball team traveled to Camden, New Jersey to Rutgers-Camden on Thursday and drop their match to University of Valley Forge by a score of 0-3 (6-25, 2-25, 7-25).
Sophomore Melisa Wright (St. Catherine, Jamaica WI) led the Cougars in kills with four (two kills in the first set and two kills in the third set) and in digs with three. Freshman Kaina Bazard (Haiti) led the Cougars in assist with three and had one dig. As a team, the Cougars collected eight digs in the match.
Medgar Evers (0-14,0-3) will return to the court on Monday, October 9th away for the CUNY Tri-match at 12:00pm against York College and 2:00pm against Baruch College.
