Women's Basketball Drops Conference Rival Match Against York College

The Cougars' women's' basketball team played in their second conference matchup of the season versus York College on Friday night at 5:00pm. The Cougars dropped the match by a score of 49-73.

The Cougars was going through lots of foul trouble has three of their five starters had four or more fouls in the match. Off the bench, Freshman Guard Malecka Davis (Brooklyn,NY) led the team in scoring with 10 points while also having a team high in steals with five. Freshman Guard Sharena Mellor (Brooklyn,NY) had a team high 11 rebounds in only 15 minutes in the match. 

For the Cardinals, #5 Nykeisha Paul led the team to their win with 19 points and 9 rebounds. 

Lady Cougars continue their weekend by traveling away to go against USMMA on Sunday, December 10th at 1:00pm.
