Women's Volleyball Lose Their Home Opener

The Medgar Evers women's volleyball team drop their home opener match against John Jay by a score of 0-3 ( 17-25, 19-25, 19-25). Melisa Wright (St. Catherine, Jamaica WI) and Charlena Mackey (Brooklyn, NY) led the team with three kills. Shania Laguerre (Trindad, WI) had two kills in the match. Diana Williams (Brooklyn, NY) and Charlena Mackey (Brooklyn, NY) led the team with two assist each. Elizabeth Figaro (Brooklyn, NY) also had an assist in the match. Kaina Bazard (Haiti) led the team with sixteen digs. 

Medgar Evers (0-6,0-2) will return to the court on Saturday, September 16th when they head to West Hartford, CT to go against Norwich University and University of Saint Joseph in the USJ Tri Match.
