The Medgar Evers College men's basketball team was defeated by Connecticut College on Sunday, November 18, in New London, CT.

The Cougars (0-4) fell to the Camels (1-1) by a score of 90-65 in MEC's second matchup of the Coaches Vs. Cancer Tip-Off Classic.

Justin Sutton led the Cougars with 18 points and also grabbed four rebounds. The senior, who was named to the All-Tournament Team, now needs only nine points to reach the 1,000-point mark for his career.

Mousa Sinera added 10 rebounds and six points, Elias Scott contributed 12 points and four rebounds, and Sean Webb posted 10 points and three steals. Jafet Thomas recorded 8 rebounds while Isaiah Garvey-Mwazi added eight points and five boards.

The Cougars return to action on Wednesday, November 28, when they face the University of Valley Forge at the Cougars Cave beginning at 7:00 pm.
