Senior Guard Maurice Swaby II Scores 30 For A Win On Senior Night

The Cougars' men's basketball team played in their sixteenth conference matchup of the season against City College on Tuesday night at 7:00pm. The Cougars won the match by a score of 97-69.

Cougars had three players in double figures. Senior Guard Maurice Swaby II (Brooklyn, N.Y.) in his final game as a Cougar leads his team to the win collecting 30 points, 8 rebounds, a tied game high 3 assist and a game high 6 steals in 38 minutes of play. Junior Guard Justin Sutton (Brooklyn, N.Y.) recorded 24 points (50% on the three point line), 7 rebounds, and 4 steals in 36 minutes of play. Sophomore Power Forward Jafet Thomas (Bronx, N.Y.) recorded a double-double collecting 12 points and a tied game high with 10 rebounds. Senior Forward Steve Shivers II (Brooklyn, NY) was also honored on senior night and collected 3 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals in 20 minutes of play.  

For the Beavers, Enesco Hunte scored 19 points.

Men's Basketball completes their season with an overall record of 8-17.
