Men's Volleyball Drops Match Against Purchase College

The Medgar Evers Men's Volleyball played in their fourth overall match of the season against Purchase College on the road on Saturday afternoon at 12:00pm. The Cougars dropped the match in four sets (23-25, 13-25, 25-14, 22-25). 

Freshman Outside Hitter Enmanuel Jaquez (Santiago, Dominican Republic) led the Cougars in kills with 16 while also having 13 digs. Junior Outside Hitter Abdul Kamara (Sierra Leone / West Africa) led the Cougars in service aces with 4. Freshman Outside Hitter Johan Jimenez (Santiago, Dominican Republic) led the Cougars in digs with 15. Junior Setter Kareem Cyrus (Saint Georges, Grenada) led the Cougars in assist with 31. 

For the Panthers, Luke Kubisch led his team to the win with 14 kills, 3 service aces and 7 digs in the match.

Medgar Evers (2-2, 0-0) play in their first home matchup this Monday on February 19th hosting a tri-match against conference rivals Baruch College (12pm) and York College (4pm).
