Men's Volleyball Drops Match Against Conference Rival John Jay

The Medgar Evers Men's Volleyball played in their eighth overall match of the season and third conference match against John Jay College on Tuesday night at 7:00pm. The Cougars dropped the match in three straight sets (14-25, 16-25, and 16-25).
Freshman Outside Hitter Enmanuel Jaquez (Santiago, Dominican Republic) led the Cougars in kills with 7 while also leading in digs with 6. Junior Setter Kareem Cyrus (Saint Georges, Grenada) led the Cougars in assist with 10. Sophomore Middle Blocker Cameron Bryan (Queens, NY) recorded the only block for the Cougars in the match.
For the Bloodhounds, Krystian Surdel led his team to the win with 12 kills in the match.
Medgar Evers (4-4, 1-2) will take on non-conference rival Mount Saint Vincent College on Thursday, March 1st at 7:00pm.
