Men's Volleyball Drops Conference Rival Match Against Hunter College

The Medgar Evers Men's Volleyball played in their sixteenth overall match of the season against Hunter College on Thursday night at 6:00pm. The Cougars dropped the match in three straight sets (6-25, 15-25, and 15-25).

Freshman Enmanuel Jaquez (Santiago, Dominican Republic) led the Cougars in kills with 6 while also leading in digs with 5, and recorded the only block for the Cougars. Junior Setter Kareem Cyrus (Saint Georges, Grenada) led the Cougars in assist with 9 while also recording 5 kills in 6 total attacks and 4 digs. Sophomore Middle Blocker Jovan Scott (Queens, N.Y.) recorded 4 digs in the match. 

For the Hawks, Michael Jazgarski led his team to the win recording 7 kills and 11 digs in the match. 

Medgar Evers (4-12, 1-6) will try to get off their recent slump by heading to face off Lasell College at 1:00pm and Johnson & Wales University at 3:00pm on Saturday, March 24th.
