Men's Volleyball Drops Both Matches in JWU Tri Match

The Medgar Evers Men's Volleyball was a part of the JWU Tri Match making it their fourth tri match of the season this time against Lasell College and Johnson & Wales University. The Cougars lost the match against the Lasers in three straight sets (16-25, 20-25, 8-25). The Cougars then played the Wildcats and dropped the match in three straight sets (16-25, 17-25, 12-25).
Against the Lasers, Freshman Outside Hitter Enmanuel Jaquez (Santiago, Dominican Republic) had a team high 8 kills and also had a team high 9 digs. Junior Setter Kareem Cyrus (Saint Georges, Grenada) had a team high 13 assist.Â
Against the Wildcats, Freshman Outside Hitter Enmanuel Jaquez (Santiago, Dominican Republic) had a team high 5 kills and also had a team high 10 digs. Junior Setter Kareem Cyrus (Saint Georges, Grenada) had a team high 10 assist and also had a team high 3 service aces.Â
Medgar Evers (4-14, 1-6) next match is a conference match against City College at 7:00pm on Tuesday, March 27th.Â
