Men's Volleyball Drops Last Conference Match Of The Season

The Medgar Evers Men's Volleyball played in their eighteenth overall match of the season against City College on Tuesday night at 7:00pm. The Cougars dropped the match in three straight sets (20-25, 6-25, and 20-25).
Freshman Enmanuel Jaquez (Santiago, Dominican Republic) led the Cougars in kills with 8 while also leading in digs with 9. Junior Setter Kareem Cyrus (Saint Georges, Grenada) led the Cougars in assist with 12 while also recording 5 digs.Â
For the Beavers, Madrid Maldonado led his team to the win recording 11 kills, 2 service aces and 7 digs in the match.Â
Medgar Evers (4-15, 1-7) will try to finish off their season strong by heading to face off Widener University at 12:00pm on Saturday, March 31st.Â
