That aforementioned spurt featured a kill apiece by Perez, Caiola, and Abreu, as well as an attack error by Quinn Lewis. Bard notched four of the next five points of the set to jump ahead 21-17, but again, Medgar went on a run, scoring the next three points (thanks to two consecutive kills by Abreu, and a bad set by the Raptors' Georgi Chikolov) to inch to within a point (21-20).
