Paul Wilson was hired as an assistant women's basketball coach in September 2021.
Prior to coming to Medgar Evers, Wilson served as an assistant for Rodney Carr for 14 years. His most impressive accomplishments came during his tenure in the CUNYAC, where he played a role in leading Hostos Community College to a pair of CUNYAC titles (2004 and 2005), while also helping the BMCC Panthers to six CUNYAC titles, three Region XV championships, and three NJCAA National Championship Final Four appearances over a 10-year span (1995-2004).
Additionally, Wilson served as an assistant at T.C.I. (2007-2008), and also in Barbados, West Indies, with the U&I Royals Women's Basketball Team 1979 and 1980. He was also the Head Coach of the U&I Royals in 1981 and 1982, guiding them to two regular season championships, and one playoff title.Â
