Box Score Staten Island, NY- The Lady Cougars fell to the College of Staten Island Dolphins 60-30 on Wednesday Jan 4, 2012 at CSI. The Lady Cougars dropped to 2-10 Overall and 0-2 CUNYAC while the Dolphins improved to 5-7 Overall and 2-0 CUNYAC.

The Lady Cougars were outscored 25-16 in the 1st half, and 35-14 in the 2nd half. CSI led wire to wire. MEC would cut the lead to 9pts to end the half. MEC shot 27% from the field in the game, 50% from 3pt. range and 37.5% from the free throw line. CSI shot 30% from the field, 23.1% from 3pt. range, and 56.3% from the free throw line.

Chantal Biscette led the Lady Cougars with 10pts, grabbed 26 rebounds, tallied an assist, four blocks and seven steals. Tiffany Woodbine scored 14pts and recorded 6 steals.

CSI was led by Katelyn Hepworth, who scored 20pts. Olivia Tierno and Nicole Fabozzi each scored 12pts.

The Lady Cougars will be back in action on Wednesday January 11, 2012, when they play conference and South Division rival York College Lady Cardinals at MEC. Game time is set for 6pm.
