COUGARS FALL TO ROADRUNNERS 58-15

Box Score Mahwah, NJ- The Women's Basketball Cougars fell to the Ramapo Roadrunners 58-15 in the 2012 Roadrunners Tip-Off at Ramapo College. The Roadrunners improved to 1-0 Overall while the Cougars dropped to 0-2 Overall.

The Cougars started off slowly making a bunch of turnovers and missed shots. Down 31-0, Freshman Antanique Williams hit a 3pt. shot, making the score 31-3 with 5:58 left in the 1st half. Junior Essence Perry followed with a jumper and that was the rest of the scoring for Medgar Evers in the 1st half.

In the 2nd half, Medgar Evers College scored 10pts. Essence Perry added 4pts in the half, followed by a bucket each from Freshman Antanique Williams, Senior Nadia Minott, and Freshman Jaquy Lanot

Ramapo in the win was led by Anna Fucci with 8pts.

The Cougars will be back in action on Saturday November 17, 2012 when they play the College of Mount Saint Vincent Dolphins in the consolation game of the 2012 Roadrunner Tip-Off.
