Box Score Staten Island, NY- On Saturday January 12, 2013, the Medgar Evers College Women's Basketball team fell to the College of Staten Island Dolphins 68-15 at the CSI Sports and Recreation Center. The Dolphins improved to 8-6 Overall and 5-1 CUNYAC while the Cougars dropped to 0-14 Overall and 0-6 CUNYAC.

Medgar Evers College had four players score in the game. Freshman Guard Nia Tompkins led with 6pts. Freshman Guard Jaquy Lanot scored 4pts, Junior Guard Wanda Winslow scored 3pts, and Junior Roneke Browne added a bucket.

College of Staten Island was led in the win from Olivia Tierno with 15pts. Melanie Johnson and Jennifer Coughlan added 11pts.

The Cougars will be back in action on Monday January 14, 2013, when they play the Saint Joseph's College of Brooklyn Lady Bears at Brooklyn Technical High School in Brooklyn, NY.
