Box Score Brooklyn, NY- The Medgar Evers College Women's Basketball team fell to the Baruch College Bearcats 87-35 on Friday January 18, 2013. The Bearcats improved to 14-1 Overall and 8-0 CUNYAC while the Cougars dropped to 0-17 Overall and 0-8 CUNYAC.

Medgar Evers College recorded a season low 13 turnovers for the game. That is a great sign.

In the loss, Medgar Evers College was led by Freshman Nia Tompkins. She scored 18pts, grabbed a rebound, an assist, and 3 steals. Junior Wanda Winslow scored 10pts, grabbed a rebound and 2 assists.

The Bearcats in the win, were led by Jessica Duleba with 23pts. Francess Henry scored 17pts and Lynda Fields added 11pts.

The Medgar Evers College Women's Basketball team will be back in action on Wednesday January 23, 2013, when they travel to Lehman College in the Bronx and take on the Lighning. Game time is 6pm and can be seen live on ustream.tv/channel/mecathletics.
