Box Score Jamaica, NY- Freshman Guard Nia Tompkins scored a game high 21pts (3-4 FT-FTA) in the 78-28 loss to the York College Cardinals earlier today. York improves to 3-21 Overall and 3-12 CUNYAC while the Cougars drop to 0-25 Overall and 0-15 CUNYAC. 

Tompkins converted on 6 3pt's, 5 in the 2nd half. Fellow classmate Jaquy Lanot led the team in rebounds with 7.

The Cardinals were led by Ishonda McFarland with 17pts. Angelika Ruggiano scored 15pts and Shanelle Baldwin added 10pts.

The Medgar Evers Women's Basketball team will conclude the 2012-13 season, when they travel to New York, NY and take on the Baruch College Bearcats. The game will take place on Tuesday February 12, 2013 and tip off is 5:30pm.
