Box Score Kings Point, NY- The Women Basketball Cougars fell to the United States Merchant Marine Academy 71-20 in Kings Point, NY. The Mariners improve to 9-12 Overall while the Cougars drop to 0-24 Overall.

The Cougars struggled shooting in this contest. The Cougars had plenty of chances but couldn't find much luck.

In the loss, Medgar Evers College was led by Freshman Guard Jaquy Lanot with 7pts (3-4 FT-FTA). Lanot grabbed 6 rebounds and added 3 steals. 

The Mariners in the win, were led by Marlee Chovich with 16pts. Tamara Kaileh scored 11pts and Demi VanDerWal added 10pts.

The Cougars will be back in action on Sunday February 10, 2013, when they travel to Jamaica, NY and play the York College Cardinals. Game time is 5pm.
