Box Score BROOKLYN, N.Y.- The Women's Basketball team fell to the Brooklyn College Lady Bulldogs 72-25 earlier tonight. The win improves Brooklyn College to 18-5, 14-1 CUNYAC while the Cougars drop to 1-23, 0-15 CUNYAC.
The Lady Bulldogs led wire to wire. The Cougars shot 23.7% from the field, 18.2% from 3pt. range, and 83.3% from the charity stripe. Brooklyn College shot 46.7% from the field, 40% from 3pt. range, and 72.7% from the free throw line.
In the loss, the Cougars were led by Sophomore forward
Kiwelewa Mlimwengu with nine points (2-5 FG-FGA and 5-6 FT-FTA). Kiwelewa grabbed six rebounds, dished out a team high thee assists, added a block, and a steal. Sophomore forward
Kimonia Mullings scored eight points (4-10 FG-FGA) and grabbed a team high 10 rebounds. Brooklyn College was led by Nicole Francomano with 11 points and Nacirema Mann adding 10 points.
The Cougars will concude the 2014-15 season with a game on Tuesday, February. 17, 2015, when they travel to Manhattan, and play the City College of New York Beavers. Game time is 5:00 p.m.
