Box Score Women's Soccer Drops CUNYAC Match against Lehman
BRONX, N.Y. (Oct. 15, 2016) – On Saturday, the women's soccer team traveled to Lehman College for a CUNYAC matchup. Medgar Evers fell behind early when Lehman's Daisy Gomez scored in the 8^th minute. The Lady Cougars struggled offensively getting just two shots off on the day compared to Lehman's 27.
 
Junior goalkeeper Marlene Thompson recorded 13 saves in the net. With this loss, Medgar Evers falls to 0-9 (0-5 CUNYAC) on the season and Lehman improves to 7-5-1 (3-1 CUNYAC).
 
Women's soccer will be back in action Wednesday, October 19, when they host Trinity Washington University (D.C.) for senior night at Aviator Sports Complex. The game will begin at 3 p.m.
