Box Score Women's Basketball Drops Conference Game at Baruch 66-39
(NEW YORK, N.Y.) – Medgar Evers women's basketball traveled to conference rival Baruch College for a CUNYAC matchup on Friday night at the Arc Arena. The Lady Cougars managed to score just 15 points in the first half as they struggled offensively. With the loss, Medgar Evers falls to 0-9 (0-3 CUNYAC) while Baruch improves to 7-2 (3-0) on the year.
It was a rough shooting night for the Lady Cougars as they went 17-62 (27%) and just 2-11 (18%) from deep. At the end of the night, Medgar Evers just did not make enough shots to give them a chance to win.
Senior guard
Elesha Dieudonne (Brooklyn, N.Y.) led the way for the Lady Cougars' with another double-double tallying 13 points and 11 rebounds. No other players scored in double figures.
