(BROOKLYN, N.Y.) – Medgar Evers women's basketball took a short drive to Brooklyn College for a CUNYAC matchup. The Lady Cougars hung in there after one quarter leading by two but it was all Brooklyn after that, losing by a final score of 76-34. With that loss, Medgar Evers falls to 0-11 (0-4 CUNYAC) while Brooklyn improves to 8-2 (4-0).
 
            Senior guard Elesha Dieudonne's (Brooklyn, N.Y.) was the lone bright spot for the Lady Cougars on the night scoring 20 of the teams 34 points. Dieudonne added seven rebounds and four steals, no other players scored in double figures. As a team, Medgar Evers shot poorly going just 9-50 (18%).  
 
            Brooklyn had three scorers in double figures, led by Lauren D'Agostino who had 13. The women's basketball team is back in action Friday, January 6th when they host Staten Island at the Cougars' Cave in a CUNYAC matchup beginning at 6 p.m.
