Women's Volleyball Lose In A Hard Fought Match Against Lehman

The Medgar Evers women's volleyball team traveled to Bronx, New York to Lehman College on Thursday and dropped their match to Lehman College by a score of 0-3 (11-25, 23-25, 11-25).
Sophomore Melisa Wright (St. Catherine, Jamaica WI) led the Cougars in kills with eight. As a team, the Cougars had fifteen kills. In the first set, the Cougars had three kills. In the second set and third set, they had six kills in each set. Freshman Kaina Bazard (Haiti) led the Cougars in assist with seven. As a team, the Cougars had ten assist. Bazard and Wright led the Cougars in digs with ten each. As a team, the Cougars had thirty-two digs. Â
Medgar Evers (0-17, 0-5) will return to the court on Tuesday, October 17th for their fourth home match versus University of Valley Forge at 7:00pm in Brooklyn, NY.
